This doesn't have a damn thing to do with whether I root for LSU or not. I've been doing that for 18 years as a season ticket holder in two sports. This has EVERYTHING to do with being mad at somebody who managed to turn our football program into a national laughing stock in one lousy game. I will always support my Tigahs, but I'm also ready to 'man up' and pay my share of the one-way bus ticket to Michigan.

Dude. Who gives a frick if someone doesn't like the guy as a person. I know I sure don't care. That's not the issue at hand. I'm not going to hang out with Les Miles, my kids aren't going to play for him, and neither are most of the people on this board. All that I care about is how he can coach and whether he can utilize this team's talent. Well, I think these past few seasons have said a lot about it.

Dunno', "dude". I guess I expect more thoughtfulness and careful consideration when people claim they don't like someone as a person, give tenuous evidence to support that stance, using job performance as a measure of being "good" or not, and haven't even had the opportunity to get to know a person outside of what they see on TV. I guess I'm just stupid like that.

Quit being so sensitive about people hating Miles. Who gives a shite if people hate Miles as a person? Why the frick does it matter? He's our coach, not a fricking babysitter.

I rather imagined that "being sensitive" meant littering a post with curse words; y'know, expressing a wealth of emotion over someone's posts. I guess I shouldn't give a shite whether LSU fans hate Miles as a person or not. I shouldn't expect more from grown-ups.

You agree Miles can't manage the clock right?

Well i hope no one comes into work 5 min late or they will get the axe

That is one of the weakest and lamest comparisons I have ever witnessed.

Would you say the same thing if you had entered into a contract with the contractor that paid it four years income upon termination for any reason other than criminal behavior, or would you bite the bullet and try to work with and get the most from said contractor? Would you have entered into that contract at all? I'm a business man and my answer is yes and no.

Lets give the man some room to get oxygen and see what route he takes. If he accepts that he is not qualified to coach at this level in this conference, and seeks top level help to better our program, he needs a chance.

If he takes the money and "rope-a-dopes" he needs to retire from coaching. I'll kick in a grand for his ticket out, and I'll copy the cashed check to this board.

Just don't see why you care whether people like Miles as a person or not. Don't think it's relevant. That's because it isn't relevant. Most people on this board will never talk to Miles in person, and even fewer on this board are friends of Miles. Unless he's babysitting your kids, whether you or anyone else likes him as a person is irrelevant. It's not likely that his close friends will dislike him as a person for his utter failure as a coach at LSU... don't see why it matters. But hey, I guess I'm just stupid like that. Maybe I should make a big deal about things that don't matter.

You evidently don't understand the point being just because someone says they made a mistake doesn't make things better. He still should be fired.

Yeah so I guess that if you make a mistake on your job you should be fired right? Get a life.

One game people. One fricking game.
