Clemson is your standard high ranked team that always gets exposed.

"Oh wow they have 2 great running backs and a good quarterback returning. Let's ignore the fact that they are replacing 4 of 5 on the offensive line. Linemen aren't important, fast running backs with names I remember from sportscenter are important. I'll vote them # 9."

Les could put himsef in at quarterback against Alabama, and we would have had a better showing than clemson. Why? Because we have a dominant and experienced offensive line. The one inexperienced guy we have is a 5* stud that almost took the job away from a senior last year.

Analysts are stupid. I'm tired of idiot articles written by idiot writers talking about how great a team will be because of their RBs, or Wrs, or QB, or LBs, or CBs. Why do we have the only 2 BCS championships without Vince Youngs, Leinharts, Bush's, or Tebows? Because our lines are the best in America year in and year out. And lines win football games. Period.

Who would you rather have? Spiller or Andre Smith? That dumptruck of a NT Saban rolled out or James Davis. Writers don't understand football, and coaches don't have time to study other teams.

As much as I want to see Bama fail, I have to admit, they looked sharp the other night (and I was rooting for them).

I think they have a reason to have higher hopes after that game, I mean isn't it understandable?

We beat them in a very close game last year so I wouldn't be so convinced that we're gonna automatically win this year considering our current QB situation.

And Julio is gonna be an f'ing beast, no doubt about it...

That being said, frick Bama...

Ditto!

Before everybody gets too worked up over Bama, rmemeber a couple of things. First, this was not a real road game. It will be interesting to see if the freshmen all play this loose on the road in the middle of the SEC schedule with the higher expectations on them. It's possible, but you can't count on it. I don't care how good they are, they are still freshmen.

Also, I just love how sportscasters NEVER do any research, as they rave about Saban's ability as a motivator. Any coach worth his pay should be able to get a team up for a big one. It was never the big games that Saban's teams had problems getting up for. It was the UAB, Florida in 03, Troy, ULM type games that he lost or almost lost. You can see this trend all the way back to time at MSU.

Before that game everyone was reveling in the fact that Alabama would lose.

Now that they win by 4 touchdowns everyone is suddenly saying it is not a big deal. It is a very impressive win for them and the SEC. If we had that type of win in Saban's year 2, after all the losing, we would have been ecstatic. How quickly people forget... put yourselves in their shoes.

I think the "real" test will come when Bama goes to Athens. Still Saturday night was a big win and a suprising one a that. It was definitaly a good boost for the SEC.

Bama played well but lets put this in perspective...Clemson came in overrated with an inexperienced O-line. If Bama plays well and wins at Arkansas...then the Bammers can and will start trippin' about the NC. N oway they they topple UGA at their. And Im still not sold on Sarah Jessica at QB, considering Clemson's defense couldn't stop my 4th graders this year.

As someone else stated, they have to play a Louisiana team on Saturday. Lately, they haven't been able to win those. This week will be the crashing of the polluted waters with the Tulame green wave and the Alabama crimson tide.

Well all of the bama fans are comming out of the woodwork now with that win. It's amazing how many instant fans they have once they win a game. People I have known for almost 10 years who didn't really care about football are now sporting bama flags and stickers on their vehicles. I hope bama loses the rest of their games, or at best goes back to the Indy Bowl.

Kirk,It is sad that you spend so much energy pulling against another team when you could be pulling for the Tigers.

LSU, with a settled QB by that point, will beat Bama.

Last year that game should not have been that close. I know it. You know it. Saban knows it.

I can't wait for Bama to eat their own after they come down from these artificially high expectations. The end of last year at Bama will be nothing compared to another 4 loss season.

Im still trying to figure out if Bama is that good on d or if Clemson laid down. Props to Bama and keep winning so the Tigers can slow your ROLL.
