Nuss was pretty good overall as a first year starter. His decision to not at run at times was frustrating. I understand bc he is a gun slinger. He wants the big play rather than get yards and keep the ball moving. Also a lot of his back pedaling and throwing off his back foot was bad.
I think those are correctable in the off season. Have more rollout play designs. Tell him to run more when the opportunity is there. Today he had one of his best games. The throws were there. Only one bad read on the INT. Having a healthy deep threat made a huge difference. Also the running game worked too.
Today showed that improvement can be made. I am hopeful that the work will be put in the off season and the offense will be more consistent than this year.

Second most passing yards in a single season at LSU. Burrow, Nuss, then JD5.

People will downvote but you’re right. This doesn’t even mean that Nuss won’t be a great college QB lol he’s already good. I doubt we see the same JD5/JB development as a 5th year senior. The WRs also won’t be as good for him, don’t think we will have a top 6 pick at WR on the roster next year.

But, I’m trying to temper my expectations for his growth next year.
Stopped reading right there. This is 12/31/24 and the kid just had a fantastic year. He has nine months to work and improve and you want "temper" YOUR expectations. Stop and go pull for ULL

I don’t think Nuss has the killer in him like Joe. He’s gonna get drafted top 10
Next year and contend for the Heisman but I just don’t think he is psychopathic enough to win it all.

Nuss has shown a lot of character and class. He’s definitely garnered my respect

You guys are all setting up to shite on Nuss if he isn’t Burrow/JD level next year.
