And he’s had some big moments for us this year BUT
If his sole purpose is to catch Skenes then as soon as he comes out there needs to be a sub.. post season AB’s are too valuable and his lack of them seems to be crushing us in an otherwise deep lineup

Jones was actually the 4th ranked HS catcher coming out of HS. He hasn’t caught any this year but guess he could in an emergency.

Depends on where they are in the order as to when the change occurs but I see no reason why Travinski couldn’t finish up the last 3 or so innings behind the plate in that situation

Frey could also catch, but hasn’t this year.
