I understand it just fine. Good post op. How dare you come in here with facts. This board lacks perspective.

How about this: While coaching Saban's players his average finish his first three years was 3. His average the remaining 6: 14

You do realize that only two other schools have averaged better than that right? Bama by at 9.5, and Ohio State right at 8.
How about you update the numbers for the last 7 years when Miles had to play eith nothing but HIS recruits.
Oh, someone did it already.
Not very impressive is it.

Throw out his first 4 years record ... won with Saban's recruits. There, I said it.
The remaining time is still a benefit of the rebuilt program from Saban. CLM was posting up A- and B+ when he should/could have been posting solid A's with the program's momentum and talen rich recruiting.
UTexas has been historically low. Not only did he have all of La, but a good chunk of Tex recruits.

Your post is hard to understand, but I've stepped back from the ledge as of yesterday. I was just giving you shite for what appeared to be a seriously bold claim. He is underperforming the last few years though. If we don't get better on the line's it will continue. Hope things turn around asap.

So that's it? The recruits come to campus ready to play? No need to be coached?
No underclassmen played those first 4 years?
Is Saban's success still due to Bear Bryant? At what point does the new coach get the credit? I guess Brady Hoke is losing because of Rich Rod's recruits. Or is it because of Bo and Lloyd?
The only coach in the nation this year that will get any credit is Dan Mullen. Freeze's success is due to Johnny Vaught.

The negs can't find a cohesive message
First it was "Les only recruits talent, can't coach 'em up"
Then they moved the goalposts to "Les coached up Saban's talent"
Pick one

It is a valid criticism. Fact is, no one can argue otherwise, that Miles has achieved better finishes, on average, with Saban's players and not his. Miles lovers always say facts are on our their side, but dismiss facts that may shed light on what the intervening variable is....the benefit of Saban's talent evaluation and recruiting prowess has bolstered Miles' record while at LSU

Now give that tablet thingy back to your big sister and go out and play on the swings. Maybe you can come up with something original and worth posting out there.

Are you referring to Saban's first 4 years at LSU with Dinardo's players?
Or implying that Saban won less with his players?

If it's the 2nd option, which I think it is, you are comparing apples to oranges.
