Bama and Ohio st. compete and win ships, we simply not have that tradition here at LSU. Many Lsu fans will be butt hurt to hear that. Just check out the history of all three schools and you will see.

Yes, because Miles was so great at retaining underclassmen. Saban lost Clayton and Marquise Hill after the 2003 season.
It could be about money. It could be that they just don't like or already have a degree. There are lots of factors but it has little to do with Orgeron.

quote:I think the real issue is that once again big $$$ becomes the whole point in college ball; the illusion of loyalty to a college, a state, a fan base, a team, a tradition is swept away in the gold rush by these gifted but impatient young athletes. It’s a loss for all but the kid.
It is sad that some don't seem to see it from the kid's point of view at all

Many of those guys entering the draft early wouldn’t be eligible to play due to academics.
It’s pretty easy to be eligible your first two years but the NCAA has certain thresholds for degree progress that get increasingly difficult to meet as the years go by

It's hard to turn down the NFL $ when you come from poverty.
