That said, regardless of the number, I would believe that someone backed out of a promise, leaving the kid pissed. That part is believable, considering the season UF had.

Man, it’s amazing to me that NIL has moved beyond the old under the table deals. $13 fricking million for a kid who may not translate to the college level!?!?

I miss the mysterious money bags and back alley exchanges. NIL is NOT supposed to be about paying these kids to go one school or another. It’s SUPPOSED to be about allowing them to make money off of their own success when sponsors come knocking or when their social media platform blows up.
