if LSU isn't. The made us look awful in every department.
Our supposed strength, our pitching, only gave up 33 runs in 3 games.
Unless our batting improves unbelievably, we aren't going to be lucky enough to only lose two every series.
From what I've seen we have maybe 3 good players in the field. I'm guilty of believing the hype. Not this year, and I am very surprised we can be this bad after winning a natty. Just like our last football natty.

There is no best SEC team after the 1st series
The SEC is a tough conference & you need a few series to see who handles the competition

Just my opinion

We ran into a buzz saw. State is far from the best SEC team. We will grow from this arse kicking. We lost 26-4 or some shite before we btfo of Florida to win the natty. People forget that.

Quit being logical. Don’t you know we are the worst team in SEC history and Woodward just cancelled the rest of the season?!

BE OUTRAGED!!

No consistency at all! That goes for pitching, hitting, running the bases. There seems to be a lack of passion during the game. State players were dynamic, energetic, and played with heart. They out-hustled us for sure!

You don't read well, and I have forgotten more baseball than you will ever know. Post less, you are embarrassing yourself.

If this were true then you would know to not judge any team based off the 1st conference series, especially on the road

With the amount of two out hits they had all weekend it leads me to believe they hacked our smart watches and were stealing our signs. But the sensible part of me understands how unlikely that is over dial up internet

It’s early in the season with a number of new pieces to this team. I think we’ll be okay.

No we didn't. They aren't that good. They kicked our arse plain and simple.

State plays at aTm and home against Florida their next 2 series. I predict State will be 4-5 or 3-6 after their first 3 sec series. They are not nearly as good as we made them look.

I didn't say that MSU was the best team, and I did say that I hope they are if LSU isn't. Did you bother to read that? Of course we don't know how the season is going to work out. My point was that MSU was better than us in every department and if they aren't the best in the SEC, then it is going to be tough for LSU, IF LSU isn't the best, meaning serious improvement in all areas.

Probably not. But they’re def substantially better than anyone was suggesting pre-series

I read perfectly fine.

It’s painfully obvious

You’re right. As a third generation pitcher/ 1st baseman whose dad was in the Reds, organization, I have no idea what I’m talking about.

You’ve been embarrassing yourself since last year with your dogshit takes. Keep up the good work.

I knew we were going to struggle to score runs with all of the new guys in the lineup . I don’t think anyone expected our entire staff to get crushed all weekend though.

MSU won the series vs LSU last year and scored 29 runs.

Stop panicking.

i mean yeah that was the case last year after the MSU series and that series took place mid-May. of course LSU needs to improve and based on jay's track record, they certainly will
