Tebow is having a bad year. You should go kill yourself. Are you serious. You need to get off your hard for stats. After that game last night announcer and everyone said he should win the Heisman again. I quit arguing with you after that stupid statement you made. BYE BYE

Did you read that before you posted?

That is post of the month!

JLee played with a completely different, much better D, that gave up 50 pts to UGA, and UF, and 31 to Troy right?

Jarrett Lee gave them almost 50 points. Jarrett Lee gave up 49 points to other teams. Not counting another 70 that lead to touchdowns. Quit while you are at it.

Tim Tebow couldn't have a better year than last year. that doesn't mean he had a down year

that, or he's about to blast us with a 15 page thesis of a post that will basically say this:

completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins, completion percentage, more wins...

calling someone a p.o.s. b/c they arent ready to quit on JL...wow, yo uadded so much to this post.

My whole point to all you of you,,,cooon, doc, hideo, ect is that im not ready to write JL off.. i never said anything negg about JJ, I have repeatedly said both need to improve for the betterment of 2009 LSU football team. I havent initially cussed any of you out or reverted to name calling for not agreeing with me....., IMO its ashame that afer a tough year for our WHOLE program and 6 prtrs of play that one guy is done and the other is the future..now if you think that I am stupid for bringng this up it shows how one sided you are, and its pathetic that you dont have any more faith in our coahces to delvelop JL and JL's own abitlity to learn from his first year mistakes of qb play at the division 1 level.

oh yeah romo just threw a pick six...he sucks too I bet.

so after 120+ posts in this thread, all we can get is completion percentage.

Nevermind the fact that Lee's completion rate against Tulane was 40% on 20 attempts for 99 yards passing. Tulane's opponents average a 63.9% completion percentage, good for 2nd to last in Conference USA. He also threw a pick six, of course.

Jefferson may have logged 43% on 21 attempts for 143 yards passing against Arkansas, but at least Arkansas's opponents average 53.3% against them, good for 5th in the SEC. And Jefferson turned the ball over 0 times.

To say one is better than the other at this point is crazy. They are both young and raw.

JL- has a really strong arm and is accurate if he sets his feet and steps into his throws. His footwork is poor at this point, but his throwing motion is sound. Doesn't look very comfortable in pocket because he's not mobile and because of inexperience.

JJ- has a strong arm but isn't very accurate. His mechanics aren't good, but they aren't terrible. He's mobile but not super fast.

Seeing JJ and JL in person in the same game, and seeing JL in person in quite a few other games, JJ is at least as accurate as Lee. Basically all that JL has going for him over JJ is a redshirt year and a quick release.
