there were 16 times this year where hte answer was no...however there 4 times in a tight ballgame in the 4th qrtr against Bama on 3rd down that the answer was yes, plus several in other games this ear that reslulted in 1st downs and tds. ....JJ hasnt had to make many descisons in his whole 6 qrtrs of PT.
JL can make thorws JJ cant or hasnt.. Im not saying JJ physically cant make the throw, he just hasnt done it yet...probably part of the mental aspect. Most of JJ throws have been outs and side line go routes... safe throws....dont have to account for extra db's.
You should really ask GCrowton or LM...might get a better answer..maybe not the one you want to hear, but more of one than we have given you so far.

The team hasn't thrown 7 pick 6's either. Just sayin.
Is the team aware that it's acceptable and preferable to tackle the guy that made the INT?
Lee had 15 INT's and almost half were run back. That is the statistical anomaly! That's an unheard of percentage. Pretty sure Stafford had more as a freshman. Stafford also lost to Kentucky and Vanderbilt when neither was any good. Stafford is projected to be a high draft pick and some project him as high as #1.

well, if it comes on a corner out route where db jumps the route, fine.... nobody is there to make the tackle...however when a DB makes an int in the middle of the field and weeves his fuking way through 5-6-7-8-9 people and scores.. NUMEROUS TIMES.... it gets to the point where it is almost comical.

because we know how much the offense runs throw tackling drills

so you need to run drills to know how to tackle people at the D1 level
good one.

+6 (the Auburn one was on JL, so he gets no credit)
Hatch had his only int returned to the LSU 16, and JJs only int was returned to the LSU 2.
Seems like this problem is not on the QB! You have pathetic skill players, or were natl champions and shouldn't have to work that hard.

does anyone else find it interesting that almost 90% of BTs threads have to do with trying to get support for Lee...then when he realizes that no one agrees with him, he ends with saying something to the effect of..."both QBs need to improve and I will support whichever one plays." I gaurantee you if JJ doesn't play well in the georgia dome, BT will be the first one to boo him
your right no one agrees with me...
your also right that I crawfhish on this topic
and lastly you are right that Ill be the first to boo JJ..
I first i thought we just disagreed on some things...after the above it's settled ...you are dumb frick.

So this is what you have to do to get a thread that people post more than 10 pages in? Hmm... I've been trying to be sensible... guess I never made the connection.

That goes for JL too then. He NEVER hustled to even try to make a play. He 's just as guilty as anyone.
eta: I can't believe you are really trying to say that the pick sixes weren't JL's fault. It's comical.

I hope this happens too. JJ is so great that he ran out of bounds on the last possession of the Ark. game to stop the clock and gave Ark. more time to score and win the game. No one said nothing about that and threw a pick that was returned for 40 yards.

You realize JJ was only 6 months removed from high school at the time of the Arky game don't you? Lee has been in the fricking system for over a year now and still can't read a dropping LB and still refuses to look off a safety. Two things I watched JJ do in his first start on the road.
Give me Jefferson any day of the week.

not what hes saying...just that there 10 other people out on the field...you would think sooner or later they could help out and tackle the guy that makes the pick.

I thought the 3d string guy didnt get any reps in practice... i.e...... the reason why JJ wasnt ready earlier in the season...
see this is the deal with alot of you who are pushing JJ as the future... the rules dont apply to both qbs.
If one doesnt do well its bc of play calls or coaching, the other has been in the "system for over a fuking year" however the fact of that is that he was 3rd string 90% of that time.
All im saying is let the rules apply to both..not to be used to prove your point or view, if it fits.

Lol. Jordan Jefferson is starting the bowl game. Miles said so like last week in the papers.
