We don't yet know for sure she didn't get some kind of buyout. Plus whatever it was would almost certainly include offset language if she takes another job in basketball, as she is reportedly doing.

Given that she was at LSU for 10 years, I suspect she got the contractual buyout and I suspect the offset language either isn't there or will be ignored.
For $200K in the coaching circles, that's chump change. LSU would look petty if it fought over an offset that small, and that's more of a Joe Alleva move to look petty.
