I thought that my argument was pretty rational. It may not be what you want to hear, but it was rational.

Ok, I can live with that. I thought that I had a slightly different take on it, but I can understand the criticism.

FwiW.....JJ does not have ANY moxie.....Deer in headlights yes......Moxie NO!!!.....As far as getting hit how often do you see Phillip Rivers or Peyton Manning looking to get hit. They are not and have never been considered dual threat qb's you dumbass.

Wow, I love how you turned my criticism into an "I want JJ back" theme. You're wrong on that account. I am all behind Lee, I just hope he finds some balls somewhere and gains some confidence.

bullshite. There was no rationale at all. Just a "point of view" with not substantive proof. No QB 'likes' to get hit - if you think otherwise you're more of a fool than I already think you are. Just go away.

Again, this is not an "I want JJ thread"!!! I don't!!

Nobody looks to get hit, but those guys move in the pocket and perceived contact does not alter their throws or mechanics like it does with Lee. That is the difference. But I am not here to compare Lee to all pro QBs. He is good enough to win. I've already said that.

I saw the Tigers beat the crap out of the #3 duks. For first game of the season on a national stage, pretty good.

i had the excact same thread the other day. It did not end well and i had to delete it. I know qb's try to avoid contact when they can, but it seems that contact dictates how he plays. He will get better as his timing with the recievers is better. I watch him get his usual panic feet and threw a ball at fords back. I expect to see his biggest improvment tomorrow night when he should be much more relaxed and not have to think so hard.

Jarrett lee 16 for 22 245 yards and 3 td's 0 int's.

His time as a Saint is a good comparison to JL's negatives right now. Happy feet, tries to release the ball too quickly, doesn't calm himself to make the proper reads.

The first post in this thread might have been full of hyperbole, but anyone that doesn't see that fear is still Lee's biggest hurdle to being a good and maybe even a great college QB isn't paying attention.

maybe he has good reason.

Andrew Hatch put his nose in, running right into the teeth of the defense, and got a broken leg.
