Well, my friend, if you have good health and your neighbor becomes ill do you not have a reason to be thankfull for being healthy?

Some children are born with defects or disease does that mean I shouldn't be thankfull for my children who were born healthy?

Or do you just think everything is simple luck and there is never a reason to be thankful?

I choose to be thankfull for all blessings that come my way and I am definitely thankfull for my home not being destroyed.
