I have never been more wrong for an LSU player than I've been for CEH

Gotta throw myself under the bus. I didn't see his emergence as the top-shelf running back he has become...seemed like the college game was too fast for him at the beginning. Man oh man...has he gotten it done. Kudos and atta boys to the fortitude of this young man. I couldn't be happier to be wrong.

That's all I got.

He’s a Catholic High kid. We all knew how it would turn out.

Same here. This offense is perfect for his skillset.

I just hate the Darren Sproles comparison from outsiders. He is more of a Maurice Jones Drew to me. Sproles was never physical

In your defense the offense in place when he signed he would have never been this successful. This offense is great for him and shows how versatile his skillset is.

There is a chance CEH will be a good #1 RB in the NFL, but at minimum he will be a great 3rd down back in the NFL for a long time.

Sure, but MJD never made people miss like Clyde. He has 1-2 runs every game where somebody just totally whiffs. He is somewhere between the two.

The biggest and happiest surprise has been his success against the toughest competition.

He's like a mix between MJD and Shady McCoy

He has proven to be an every down back. He pass blocks and picks up blitzers, he is a very good pass catcher and route running back and uses his moves and strength to run.

I was hyping the guy up big time before the season and received lots of flack. I accept your apology and realize that I can evaluate talent better than the average person so its nothing personal man.

You can add me as well. That was a major concern for most but he has proven us all wrong.
But I am an alumni of East St. John and watched John Emery live twice. I was the only 1 saying it was gonna take him awhile before acclimating to college. I think a couple people wanted to meet me at sonic lol.

I think he has exceeded everyone’s expectations. He was the first freshman ever to play varsity at CHS so he’s always had talent. This offense suits him perfectly.

Spot on. His ability to catch the ball is a huge asset come draft time.

Definitely not a Catholic high kid from New Iberia, I would have known if he came out of that school for sure, would have seen his emergence there. Only got to see his greatness for the tigers

MJD ran 4.39 and had long speed

He is nothing like Clyde lol. Not all small RBs are the same

The best Clyde comp is Doug Martin
