We're a top 25ish program at the moment

With even slight improvement we're a top 10 program

We'll have no doubts about what type of program we are at the end of this season because of the strength of schedule is so stout. We will need to play like a top 10 school to have a chance of finishing 1 or 2 in the west.

Thankfully, I do not think the board is a true reflection of the fan base; lord, I hope not. Majority appears to be youngsters caught up in multiple championships over a short time span. They have no clue what the really “rough”times were like. Most have no clue what a play book looks like or ever set foot into anything other then a seat at the bar & rarely the stadium.
Oh, and do they give any thought to the fact that maybe, just maybe, that 5* QB recruit may red this board. Any chance, any, it may have some influence?
No, the dummies here are NOT fans. They ride the shirttails of winners & desert their teams when needed. So, so grateful these were not standing beside me in the Vietnam jungles or I may not be here to tell them all - “dummies”!

not lately....that much is for sure.

That's why we fired the last dude, dummy. 50 wins and a NCG appearance from 2011-2015 wasn't good enough.

Now, eight or nine wins is the expectation because we have a hard schedule. When doesn't LSU play a hard schedule?

Looks like averaging ten wins a season might not be the piece of cake you clowns thought.

Such a stupid talking point.

An even stupider talking point.

The problem LSU faces right now is that the SEC is loaded with HC talent, and Coach O will absolutely not cut it.

LSU won't be elite until they hire an elite HC, because right now I think Jimbo will have Texas A&M surpass LSU in short order.

I mean you've got a conference with 2 HCs that have won a national title, 2 more that have made it to the national title, and you've got Coach O trying to beat those guys just to win the conference? Not happening

Put it this way: If Mark Richt wasn't good enough for the SEC, Coach O certainly isn't

There’s no reason why LSU shouldn’t be an elite program. In state talent, facilities etc...

Oh I've seen the true fanbase on FB. They think we're going to challenge Bama.

People on here are the more reasonable folks if you can believe it.

Honestly we are probably in the middle of the two extremes this board displays.

Lol we

LSU is in the middle of two extremes.

They have a roster that nearly every coach in FBS would take except maybe 2 or 3

They have a head coach that nearly every school in FBS doesn’t want, except 1, the one that hired him.
