I don't really understand the panic/doubt in the fans right now.. In the national championship years we didn't roll through the SEC like it was cake, did we? Last year we were never "OUT" of a game.. Including against two BCS winners (one being the national champion)..
Now the year before when we are letting Georgia and Florida hang a combined 103 on us.. That is cause for worry.. But last year we were a couple of rolls/calls away from being undefeated..
Bottom line.. If the defense stays the same.. and the offense improves even slightly we have a good shot at being back in the BCS..

REALLY??? OK Blame the refs!!!
BTW the last two years AFTER playing Bama WE SUCKED the next game. Thats the shite that has to stop. Bama is NOT the last game of the year.LSU used to do that to the OTHER TEAM. Thats NOT there anymore. THINK ABOUT IT.

Yep. Teams use to get the Post-LSU-Lag..now its the case with Bama. Last year against Tech we played horrible. In 08 against Troy..well..

The point is that if they come out fired up and fight like mad to win each game, they have a better chance to win each of those games. ...And if they lose a game, it isn't quite as bad as if we came out flat (...because we can then blame it on the officials
). I remember about 5 minutes into the Va Tech game at the start of 2007, I was thinking man these guys are pumped. That emotion is what will bring us out of the slump we're in. I'm tentatively optimistic that we see that this year!

One - We have not lost the game after Bama once this decade..
Two - Florida is 7-1 the game after us
and 4-4 the game after Kentucky.. Kentucky MUST have the swagger we are missing..

No dude.. not blaming the refs at all. My point is LSU was in a position in the fourth quarter where games against the best teams in the country were winnable..
When we were SOO dominate in 2007-2008..
We were down by 10 to florida in the 4th..
Down 10 to Auburn at half and needed that amazing Flynn-Byrd pass to win..
Down 7 to Bama with 3 minutes left.
Very close to being a 5 loss team..
Luck plays in a lot as well as attitude.. I'd say if we are in these games at the end the attitude is where it needs to be.. Just gotta hope for the luck now(and better clock management).
