I have been surprised by the BB team success so far this year

It seems like every game there are some issues (which are described and discussed in each game thread) yet the team keeps winning. Some of the wins have been ugly, but I am a firm believer that an ugly win is just as good as a pretty win.
This team could make a nice run especially if they keep winning close games.

I watched most of them. Last year's team generally looked sharper playing than this year's team. But, I just have a feeling that this year's team is going to be difficult to beat - even in situations where the other team may have better talent.

I was surprised that we lost so many non conference games, I expected us to be as good as last year.

I mean if we beat Texas this year, our OOC performance between the 2 seasons really isn't much different, and this team is definitely not as good/talented overall as last year's team. We lost 3 games by just 2 points in OOC play, really coin toss types and just came out on losing end.

Contrary to general belief, I want the LSU basketball team to be successful.

They are not out talenting all the teams they play.
But I respect how hard they play the game!
It's a scrappy team and with a healthy Manning and Taylor will be a tough out in the tourney.

I enjoy watching games like this. Sometimes, the team makes you grit you teeth, but they pull out wins.

I wish LSU had canned Wade last year. It didn't. As long as LSU is stuck with Wade, I will support the team and Wade.
