...and the only prescription is more jet sweeps!

I know many criticized the jet sweeps early on and asked for them to be tossed from the playbook completely, but it has been our best offensive play.

Our WRs are averaging 8.3 ypc and have 3 TDs on them. Our longest runs of the year have all been jet sweeps (including today's huge 70-yarder). I think Guice's longest carry today was from a sweep too. We got stuffed on the goal line as well before our first score until we gave it to Sullivan on 4th and 1. We had two 30-yarders last week by WRs and they were huge in the UF win. Jet Sweep Fever is here to stay.

Nothing like having to utilize that jet sweep to score on the 1 yard line!

Only the idiots on the rant will actually bitch about a scoring play.

I agree...idiot...just sad we can't get enough of a push to pound the rock for 1 yard.

I think this added dimension is going to significantly improve our chances of being able to move the ball against Bama compared to the past 6 years. Hopefully we can get a couple TDs and a Herculean effort from Devin White and the D. But first things first, Ole Miss.

Jesus dude. No. It's not a shame. It would be a shame if we didn't have somebody like Canada who can utilize our strengths.

The Jet Sweeps are required to overcome our weak OL play.

Designing plays that hide weaknesses is a good thing.

I agree 100% with y'all. Glad we have an OC that is willing to adapt his play calling to make up for our weaknesses. Just think as an Oline you should be able to get enough of a push for a yard, maybe it's just me.

Yeah, and I think Dillon is super fast and is a weapon we haven't quite tapped into yet. Also, Chark hasn't gotten many sweeps. He has elite speed, so I'd get him some more touches there. When that play works, it works for big gains. Gage has surprised me with the amount of success he has had on them. The guy has some good moves and is all heart.

Maybe but you had a young o-line going up against a pretty good veteran Auburn front 7. You just gave them multiple looks up the middle and they stopped it. The last few years we would’ve settled for a FG there. Canada actually used some creativity with personnel and got the TD. Some of you just look for reasons to be miserable.
