Did your dream end with Zion scoring 40? Because that’s what would happen if Naz was on him all night.

We’re just pointing out that it’s a bad defensive matchup. It’s not negative. It’s the truth.

Who else would guard him? Naz would have to step up.

While I agree with others than Reid is too slow-footed to guard Zion on the perimeter for long spurts I do think UCF provided a pretty decent blueprint for how to slow Duke down. Zion is gonna get his and that is inevitable but UCF had an interesting strategy of essentially leaving Tre Jones and Jordan Goldwire wide open on the perimeter, leaving Tacko Fall right in front of the basket, and putting a smaller quicker player on Zion. While LSU doesn't have anyone with Fall's size, they could employ a similar strategy with KBW in the paint and Marlon or Skylar on Zion. The (somewhat) good thing about defending Duke is that they don't have an especially large frontcourt (VERY versatile and talented but not overly big). Bigby Williams and Reid could have big games should the matchup actually happen.

That would be a nightmare. Zion would just live in the lane. Even with Bigby in there

Emmitt would be all up in Zion’a grill like Lance Stephenson on LeBron.

I like Naz but Zion would flat out destroy him 1 on 1 on both ends of the court.
