Quit being so fricking selfish. This isn't about you. It's about him and his career in pro football.

Fournette played through injury, and gave it his all this season. I'm grateful for him choosing to come to LSU and give us 3 exciting years. He could have been like every other cheesedick athlete in the state, and choose Bama because they're winning and at the top.

so what does that Tshirt have to do with him being an ambassador for the university.

I am white, from BR, and 100% pro law enforcement but he can wear any type of shirt he wants and it doesnt make his a bad person or bad for the university you racist frick

They don't belong in the same boat. Fournette wanted nothing but to be here at LSU. He played even when hurt. The man was a highlight reel when healthy. He has and will represent LSU well.

Ben was not here long enough to develop the same love for LSU that Leonard had.

People need to get off their high horse and stop pretending they don't make their career decisions based off of money too.

He's fixing to make MILLIONS. Why risk that by playing in a meaningless bowl game.

Our fans' treatment of Fournette down the stretch has been pathetic

Don't let the voices of a few timid souls drown out the support of hunreds of thousands Fournette fans.

LF7 could have gone to Bama and won a Heisman...yet he chose to rep LSU and his state knowing full well he was coming at a time when the offensive shite show LSU was running could cost him.

To me he will always be a true Tiger

Don't even think about putting Fournette and Simmons in the same sentence.

Fournette has been nothing short of phenomenal and a great ambassador for LSU.
I don't think Simmons could even point Louisisana much less Baton Rouge out on a map.

Simmons could've gone to Duke/Kentucky and won every award and actually have a coach that doesn't throw the ball out on the court and say "Okay guys. Go play"

This is 100% spot-on.

I'll add to it by pointing out that him wearing that shirt was not necessarily what everyone made it out to be. Black people (at least in south Louisiana) make t-shirts with the names and faces of the deceased when someone they care about dies.

This is true regardless of cause-of-death.

If anything it shows how disconnected some white folks are in this state to their own neighbors and their cultural differences.
