I too heard what DP said, however I didn't twist that into waging war against La Highschool coaches.

I didn't twist it into that. At all. You're misconstruing what I said. My point was that we know DP & his site carry the water for the program at all costs at all time, & they were blaming the Fans. Period.

Hopefully now I've been a tad less ambiguous.

You're original post state your feelings come from "corners of LSU specific websites."

I get the feeling the staff is making excuses, because that's exactly what the company line coming out of those corners is stating. Excuses.

Well then by all means continue to state those feelings as facts and use that to criticize this coaching staff.

You view DP's comments as excuses and I view it as DP trying to convince listeners to support the program. And DP has good info but he's not the mouthpiece of the staff.

Not that any of the arguments I or any else has made matter because you will continue to post this long winded drivel whenever you get the chance.

Miles is the most successful coach in LSU history. Period. He is not perfect. I really, really wish he would let his offensive coordinators do their thing. I would rather Krags call the plays than Miles. That's one thing he can improve upon. The recruiting class was fine. It met the team's needs. And, I DO think that there are some (I don't know who, or how many, but "some") Louisiana high school coaches who enjoy feeling like they're a confidante or whatever of Saban's; in other words, he strokes their ego's and plays them for the buffoons they are.

I think you are MUCH closer to the truth than GFunk.

Ponamsky, like many others, recognizes that the criticism is ridiculously over the top.

But hey, thanks for the stock sarcasm and "you aren't a coach, so you shut up," response to my post. I appreciate the fact that you've read a single post in this thread that I've made-that being the most recent-and chimed in. Feedback-positive or negative-is always appreciated.

I didn't mean to get you all defensive. I haven't read every line in this thread but it seems to me that you are long on opinion and short on provable facts.
If you have some real information, I would be happy to read it, but to write stuff like "In other words, from many circles" without providing specifics doesn't do your position any good.
You must have some basis for evaluating don't you think? If you say that Thai food sucks without ever tasting it, you don't have any real credibillity.
That's it from the left field bleachers. Thanks for letting me post in our thread.

I hope everyone reads this and lets this sink in so they understand how crazy of a premise you are starting from.

I hope everyone reads how much of a homer you are.

Seriously? This place has become unglued.

Did you forget that heading into the BCSNC
LSU was 13-0
LSU had beaten that same #2 Alabama team on the road.
LSU had won in double digits in every other game except Alabama
LSU had won with an average margin of victory of 27 points...
LSU outscored its opponts by 40+ twice, 30+ 4 times, and 20+ 4 other times.
LSU held it's opponent to 11 points or less 11 times.

Yeah, it really takes a homer to be distraught over that. LSU clearly has major problems.

I have news for you, there is a VERY strong chance we don't see a season quite like that ever again.

You fair weather fans who can only support the program when it wins a championship are pathetic.
