Evans threw Tuesday morning. No way he comes back on Thursday. especially not for 6 innings.

“All out within reason” isn’t a thing. Everyone wants to win tonight, but I promise you the coaches aren’t going to leave the pitching staff exposed for tomorrow unless something disastrous occurs.
We’ve seen this from Jay so many times we’ve lost count. He will sacrifice a game if it means winning the series, and LSU is essentially up 1-0 on Arky in a 3 game series.
If there’s blood in the water they will go for the throat, but if it’s even a little bit murky don’t be surprised if they pull back and hold their best cards for tomorrow.

The difference is how much this affects the championship series with the very short break. Winning tonight is huge in setting up the staff for the finals. Even more so if coastal wins.
