This has all the makings of an ambush. Thursday night; on the road; upstart offensive.... I know it was lowly Memphis but the numbers are impressive nonetheless. Tigers best check those little egos at the door....

Our defense rapes whole towns. I wouldn't worry just yet.

I do think MSU is finally a formidable opponent, but not so fast my friend. We win by 17+.

If Lee/Mett can get our passing game going, Miss St won't stand a chance. If we don't get out passing game going then it will be a close one. I still think we win it by 10+ MSU still has to prep for Aub, we can kind of over look Northwestern St and get ready for Miss St.

Bulldogs will be a tougher opponent than the ducks. They have a better defense and a better offensive line. Plus, they have this circled as a program defining game

Comparing us to Memphis is like comparing Haille(sp) Berry to Oprah in a swimsuit contest.

T-pawl.......they scared the hell out of me as well. This game has been circled by state for a long time. LSU will have to get much better QB play against MissState.

Top to bottom they dont match up. We.out man them just on depth alone. The only way we loose that game is if we beat ourselves. This is going to be a special season.

GTFO with this shite. I am so fricking sick of hearing about ohh miss state is the game to look out for. frick THAT NOISE, LSU OWNS MISS ST. That's a fact.. yeah a couple of games have been close of late, but please tell me the last time LSU lost to Miss st?

i'M Much more concerned with teams like arkansas who we actually do lose to in competitive games.

and another thing.. this reminds me of the "why are fans so confident against oregon thread"

THIS IS STILL LSU. THIS IS A LOADED TALENTED TEAM. YOU SHOULDNT FEAR ANY TEAM. THEY SHOULD BE SAYING THIS.. BUT NOT LSU FANS.

until mississippi state actually beats lsu i'm good.
we should absolutely win against them with this defense alone. and the offense will score on them.

We are 18-1 in the last 19 games against Moo. U & 23-3 in the last 26 years. If it wasn't for the John Bond era from '80-'83, the streak would be even better. He's the only qb to beat LSU 4 times in his career.

Last loss was '99 in a 17-16 ballgame that the refs gave to the Leghumpers. I still say their rb did not make it into the endzone.

Sorry, I'm not buying into the fear. Remember MSU has Auburn this weekend and we have NW St. Come on, don't you think Miles is working on preparation for MSU this week, he knows how important that game will be (SEC west). Remind me, how many games has LSU lost under Miles in September? The Tigers defense will RULE. No FEAR here!

That would be a shocker.

LSU has been making miss st wear tutus for the entire history of our program.

Even during the curley hallman era, our worst in history, we still beat miss st. We dominate miss state more than any other team in the nation.

I bet the players are tired of hearing how much of a trap game MSU is this year and will come out as ready as they did for Oregon.
