That thread wasn't so bad. I've definitely seen worse in the past. Most just tipped their caps to Nola, for such a dominate performance.

I found the crowd last night quite boring on both sides. It didn't seem like a normal LSU-Tulane game for some reason.

Tip of the cap to Nola, he did a great job last night. We hit a few balls hard early on but right at people and once he settled in, our bats went silent. Well played game defensively by both teams.

We jawed w/ some Guido in LF for a bit. Didn't hear much out of him after the 1st inning tho, up until the time he left in the 7th.

The fans I talked to (mostly students), were pretty reserved & plainly admitted they were rebuilding & have a young team.

The old school tulane/LSU hatred is simply not their from the under 30 crowd. Tulane students from Jersey & New York simply don't have the same hatred for tulane as the 50y/o NOLA tulane Attorneys that grew up hating the P&G

i'm in the 50 yr group but never had the hatred part( I actually have gone to more LSU football games than Tulane games). And to be honest, both sides have some real jerks for fans....LSU has more simply because of having more fans.

Honestly, the students at Tulane don't care or know a bunch about sports they just show up to drink. I know a few Tulane "fans" that I really believe hate LSU more than they like Tulane. Don't really understand the logic.
