Les Miles or more specifically the die hard CLM groupies like yourself have gradually lowered that bar to where it is currently located. O just didn't raise it in his first year as HC.

I think your boy Les lowered the bar for us in those last few seasons when we saw ole miss and Arkansas on the schedule.

yeah because those losses are worse than a mid major( 1st mid major loss in 16 years) and the worst loss in lsu msu history.

its fricking amazing watching football ignorant posters like you tout seasons you used to bash miles for.

what? he was justy fired. but miles had proven he could take lsu to the mountain top.

where the best thing ed orgeron has ever done as a head coach is beat a 3 loss auburn team. mikes had earned his support by having one of the most accomplished tenures in sec history.

So you’re giving O credit for games that haven’t even been played yet. That figures, for a goalpost mover.

9-3 regular season is a Les Miles season.
So if you crow about that, you’d better also crow about how good Les was.

It amazing watching people like yourself validate your own hate bias of a first year coach and your nut hugging of the past coach that dragged this program down. Yes that same coach that can't get a job now.

If Miles had actually lowered the bar he would still be at LSU. He was fired because that wasn’t good enough.

Now that O is the coach, the same record Les got fired for is suddenly not only good enough, but something to crow about.

God y’all are some double-standard touting, goalpost-moving idiots.

Hey tech guy the reason he was fired because he ran a g**damn 1970's offense and everyone in the nation knew what we were doing huh except our head coach. We got some real geniuses up in here.

That’s just stupid. Les could have gotten away with losing to just Bama, but it was shitting the bed in about two other games a year that got him fired.

Just like O did with Moo State and Troy.

The offense may well have been the REASON Les lost those games, but if he had won them he wouldn’t have been fired, shitty offense or not.
The reason for the firing was the LOSSES.

The problem was that those teams you were speaking of were in the western division of our conference. Arkansas, Ole miss. Alabama. I could excuse Alabama but physical teams up front shut down our very predictable I formation bs that les ran. Oh and don't forget that Toss dive. This is why no one will touch Les miles now.

Eta:your wins comment has nothing to do with it because Les's winning percentage is very good. Everyone is scared to hire him now because he is old school and that old shite offense died along time ago.

No dude you got it all wrong. Miles sucked natty and all. Won a natty on Sabans back but funny when he was on his own. With one of the best teams ever he could not beat Saban in 12. Miles is unemployed and O is the man. So deal with it!!!!

You are so tired of hearing that Lsu outgained bama and had more first downs? Yes, Lsu still has improvement to make, but that game was there for the taking if etling could hit half of the long balls that were open. It was an improvement from what we have seen the last few years. You are probably one of the people that claim Lsu had no offense against Florida last year because 10 points.

Go back the last 10 years and pick out the vastly inferior teams of which you speak. You will not find any in the SEC West. That division was year in and year out the most difficult in the nation. By a mile.
