I've never understood why anyone pays any attention to what Herbstreit or any other media pundit says. They don't know any more than we do, and often they know far less. Ignore them all.

Back in 2007, only Kirk and Gary Danielson were suggesting the night after LSU won the SECCG that they deserved to jump past VT in the polls making them #2. even after slaughtering VT early in the year, VT had jumped past LSU after the two losses.
Gary and Kirk immediately starting reminding pollsters that LSU had curb stomped VT head to head and it made no sense, despite tradition of not moving team in order if they didn't lose) to keep VT ahead of LSU in the final poll which would determine the BCS representative. Had it not been for those two doing it so publicly and loudly right then and there, I've always thought that the pollsters would have kept things as they were and VT would have go on to play OSU in the BCSNCG instead of LSU.
He was ok then, right? Same with Danielson...right?
