I hope JD has someone else's brain to pick besides Marcus Mariota.

Agreed. Didn’t he suck last year and then get benched. After getting benched, I believe he left the team with a few games to go and just went home to Hawaii. What kind of a-hole just quits and goes home during the season?

I don’t think you can have a much worst mentor for JD than that douche bag in Mariotta.

but ultimately I think he’ll need a better development and schemer as a play call to take that next leap as a QB
He'll need a much better OL to take the next step.

Ask Joe Burrow about playing for a team with a front office that just doesn't GET IT when it comes to putting a great OL in front of a great QB!

I play golf regularly with a Maryland transplant to North Carolina, who is a BIG Washington fan. Shares with me that all reports are JD looks really GOOD. He hopes he doesn't get thrown in on game 1, but says it might happen due to his performance.

Obviously want nothing but the best for JD and hope when he does play he tears it up, and outperforms the guy getting all the hype in CHI....

The Bengals have made a lot of moves to improve the OL over the last 3-4 years. Sure, some of them haven't panned out, but it hasn't been from lack of trying or spending the money.

Daniels will 100% be the game 1 starter.
