I think ole Les is giving Lee Corso a run for his money.

No way an unfocused man could pull those kind of classes year in and year out.
He was an effective recruiter because he had a great brand to sell; had a talent rich state all to himself; and was good with players and families. On the other hand he built highly ranked classes with skill players, minus the QB position. Many of those skill guys never saw the ball due to Les’ style. His roster management was suspect. Rarely did LSU have dominant tackles. So he was unfocused about “need”. His lack of focus, detail on the field was clearly evident at times with time and game management.

This! Its getting harder to watch him try to speak. Even before that game talking to Tim Brando was hard to watch.
There is obviously something physically or mentally wrong at this point.

I bet he is so dumb that he has made more money than you would in 10 lifetimes...

Just look around at the idiot athletes, entertainers, etc. who are extremely wealthy. And there are plenty of dumb CEOs too who made a fortune, yet made really dumb decisions that drove their companies into the ground.

As dumb as he was. LSU and Aleva was even worse for letting an incompetent Fool coach for as long as they did

OMG, that is insane and terrible.
Les is a great guy but here 3 to 5 years too long.
Thank god we have O now.

Ok. Good point. How about a degree from Michigan? How about knowing more football than anyone on this forum for damn sure.
So call him what you want, but he is “dumb”.

As for knowing more football, do you say that merely because he was the head football coach at LSU? So was Curley Hallman, and he was an awful coach (who admittedly probably knew more about the game than most fans). But still, he was abysmal.
Merely because a guy is a head coach, or a CEO, or a high-level guy of any kind doesn't necessarily mean they're extremely knowledgable. A lot of guys have just been around awhile, have some success, and rise to high levels based on that alone. And if they are very knowledgable, that doesn't necessarily translate into being a good coach. A lot of very knowledgable people are terrible at their job, and that applies across all fields.
It doesn't mean they're all worthy of their positions.
