I could be wrong but Myles is the best QB to speak.

The guy is the most well spoken and I’m happy to have him

Yes he is. I appreciate him coming to LSU and am glad he is getting a chance to play

Why would any other QB be speaking anyway?

LSU and Tommy Karam do a hell of a job polishing up these athletes. Also helps that Myles is in year four. I think Joe was the best though and had no problem telling it like it is.

For whatever reason his voice and demeanor reminds me of a pro golfer

Maybe but it seems like he gets it. 3 years in the system playing underneath arguably the best college QB of all time. You can get stressed or feel fortunate and he I feel gets the latter.

He can talk the talk. Let’s see how he walks. This weekend shouldn’t be a big challenge but still a great opportunity.

I believe in Brennan, I believe in Ensminger. I believe in Orgeron. Let’s get some wins!

While he says the right things, I actually find Myles lacks charisma. It sometimes comes off to me as memorized coach-speak.

I really hate to compare him to BDJ, but Joe had a natural genuine swag and seemed to make interviews or pressers/Q&A’s almost conversational. Joe could be humorous, snarky, cocky/confident, insightful, and informative. I don’t recall ever hearing Myles naturally laugh during a Q&A. Doesn’t seem like a natural speaker, to me, in comparison to a generational leader like Joe.

Maybe I’m wrong.

He is also a real student of the game.

So we’ll get the plays called. That’s good.

I’m joking around. I love Myles

It’s really hard to top Burrow in this regard. Burrow rarely, if ever, uttered ‘uh’ or “you know” in his press dealings.
Brennan is articulate enough, but no more so than most senior quarterbacks, but needs to reduce his “you knows”.
None of that matters when he’s out on the field. How does he command the huddle, recognize defenses/coverage, feel the pocket pressure, and deliver the ball. That’s it.
He can speak pig Latin as long as he can perform at QB.

Burrow never had to deal with the Rona either while at LSU. These young men are having to sit in a sterile room with no personal interaction with the reporters, watch a monitor with 10-15 faces while waiting for one of their mics to go on and then having to focus on giving an answer to a TV. Most distracting is that there’s no real personal conversations going on. I think all these guys that do interviews under these conditions are doing a great job, ya know.

Thanks! That clears up a lot. I was wondering why they were straight forward with little to no emotions.
Makes sense now.
