I just wanted to point out how much I hate turf baseball fields. Every time I see one it reminds of the Bull Durham quote.
And if there were no DH we'd have the best hitting pitchers in the nation.

Specialty closers and relief pickers have changed the game. Nobody wants to see guys batting who have no business batting.

D H helps offense and offset closers. Gotta change the game for entertainment value. Like not letting Drew Brees get touched on his head. Nobody wants to see overmatched guys striking out because they never practice hitting.
