Nah homie, it's about as easy as you getting all "e-hard" in GEORGIA. I work right off of Interline Ave. in B.R. I'm not hard to find super-macho man.

So you are concerned with the direction of the program based on bad stats from a year that we won a national championship?

Seriously?

i love how when lsu football is doing bad arse e veryone knows so much about the game, but after one damn loss to a ranked team at home, it's so evident how little the lsu fan base knows about football...

feel free to explain what we don't know about football that becomes obvious after showing concern about the direction and trends of our defense

After reading about the defensive decline dating back to last season... I am very worried. Especially when Les Miles defends his co-d coordinators.

Point #1 The defensive decline was due to injuries last year.

Point #2 Our co-DCs are dealing with a lack of experience at DB and LB. Our inexperenced players were not ready for their test at Florida.

Point #3 Florida ran the spread option to perfection last week.

Point #4 Oklahoma and Texas, the previous and current #1 ranked teams gave up 45 and 35 points last week.

Point #5 We will be much better prepared for the SEC C.G.

why are so many people worried about our class, if we lose 3 or 4 games??

didn't bama have the top class and they went 7-6??

Didn't FL bring in a solid class after losing 4 games last yr??

We need to look at what we have. Our strengths are the lines. They have played poorly in pass blocking and in the Florida game they did bad in run blocking as well. Of course, the qb deserves some of the blame too. We have the receivers, but if the qb rushes a throw, than that can make the receivers look worse than they are. He needs to get rid of the ball faster. On defense, we have had some injuries, so that hasn't helped, but we should be getting more pressure with the front four. We all knew the db's are green and that we had to rely on the front four to put pressure to relieve the db's from getting exposed. I honestly don't think it is the players, but the coaching. I watched the replay of the FLA game last night and both times, Pittman and Jackson pinched in on Tebow and he pitched the ball out to Rainey and Demps. Why not pursue out to the back and force Tebow in, where you may have lb or safety help. That problem is the player and the coaching I believe. If you watch all of the games FL has lost since last year, the teams put pressure on Tebow, which we did not, i.e. Ole Piss, Michigan, GA, etc. I still don't understand why we did not do this, but if we don't, then I agree on the direction of the team is headed. We also need to get back to running the ball, as that relieves pressure on the qb.

We need to step it up in order to maintain these kids. NSD is a long way off. These kids committed to play for a NC caliber team.

I am mostly worried about the lack of pass rush from our D-line. With inexperienced CBs, getting a good pass rush from them is crucial. I can understand shaky secondary play because of inexperience, but there is no excuse why the D-line generates very little pass rush.

NO!
but here is what he CAN say...something like...

It is obvious that things did not go our way today, we will reviewing all film and addressing any areas of concern.

"I" "I" "I"...should HAVE BEEN THE MAGIC WORD and where the responsibility should have pointed to in public.

You always PRAISE in public REPRIMAND in private.

promoting from within

as a business teacher and business owner....
There is nothing either inherently RIGHT or WRONG in promoting from within....
there are some dangers for each...

dangers to promoting from within.....
1)if there is a weak philosophy within, it will continued (and usually expanded)to be carried out.
2)the way we have always done it will prevail
3)no flow of new ideas

Here is the guideline I teach....
the position should NEVER be an on-the-job training position....anyone interested in the "open" position" should have already demonstrated FULL understanding and PERFORMANCE at the new position, BEFORE being promoted....
otherwise it is an on-the-job training position.
----1 exception only, "only and only if" it is not a critical position and immediate results are not required.

Also there
MUST NEVER BE TWO HEADS OF ANYTHING.....
PERFORMANCE will not rise, as neither will be fully in charge nor fully responsible.

anything with 2 heads is a freak.

So, what did the kids that signed Alabama last year sign on for? They were not a NC caliber team last year, and they had the #1 class....

Yes, the defense has not played real well the last 2 weeks, but this is a young defense, give it time...

Either you are not watching, or know nothing about football. Losing is one thing. Forgetting the basics, confusion, out of place, personnel issues are cause for a bit of worry. We will see this saturday.
