I am fearful that the boos for the home team will be at an all-time high. I was there last Saturday, and the boos (and standing ovation for Lee) were very loud. Now that fans have had a week to build up some animosity towards the coaches, I can't imagine how many boos are going to come down. I will not boo our own players (don't hide behind the "I'm booing the coaches" crap, Jefferson knows that it's his play being booed) but nobody is going to listen to me. The boo birds will be loud on Saturday. I shudder when thinking about the starting line-up being announced and shown on the jumbotron.

Unless Miles is being his usual sneaky self. The same Les Miles that thinks he outsmarts his opponents by having 3 punters wear #38. He's just smug enough to think he will outsmart Tennessee by claiming Jefferson will start, only to have Jarret Lee trot out for the first play.

Well Jefferson has been booed in the starting lineup twice already so how much worse can it get?

No Joke.
There wasn't much to cheer about in the dark days.
Although, Miles is winning in spite of himself. Sitting on a 3 point lead will burn his arse soon enough.

i agree the booing is bad and as much as this offense makes me want to shite and vomit, I refuse too boo b/c the players always feel they are being booed.

I'm sure a lot of the posters on this board were still in their diapers during the glorious days of Curley Hallman.

I want J. Lee to play just as much as the other guy, but a true Tiger fan would cheer when JJ's name is called. Show the kid some damn support. Maybe he'll turn it around. Booing him or our coaches isn't doing a damn thing. Again I want Lee to start and I have been on the Lee wagon since 2008, but this booing is something I honestly couldn't imagine doing.

:wft:

All 3 LSU punters wear #38. In warm-ups you can't tell who is who. I guess he might plan on sneaking the "fake-punt punter" into the game at some point.

Was in the student section in the 90s. But 55,000 people booing is not the same as 92,000 people booing.

It's not only the fans seeing how bad it is, the players are starting to give up on JJ too.

as long as LM is the HC, nothing will surprise me ie the LA tech game last year, the ole miss cluster frick, the promotion of dumb and dumber, his silly sounds, his off the wall quotes. If McNeese was as good as App State, I would sure in the frick fear them too.

In these dark days? Play D&D much? Dark Days?

But it hasn't yet. But then tell us what the Spell Casters tell you. Are these the DARK DAYS before the return of the Ring?

Then it shouldn't surprise you if he continues to win football games.

The reason we didn't boo in back in the day is because we were use to losing and every player would play with such tremendous heart that he would exzude over his mediocre talent. That's not the case in rescent years and it hurts me as life long tiger fan not to see it from our O. Where's that one player who will's himself into that big play or physical run.

But back to the topic:
We are playing the vols guys...what's to be affraid of?

Then the only one who can improve his play is Jefferson himself and based on his statements he can't understand why people are upset with the way the offense is performing. However, regardless of how poor they perform, booing doesn't help the situation. To me, booing is a waste of time and effort. If you don't like the product on the field, don't buy a ticket and voice your displeasure by staying home or spend your money on another form of entertainment that you enjoy.

Hoping for the boos to get so loud that Miles decides to go with Lee and give this team a shot to win a NC. LSU has no shot at a NC with the joke of JJ at QB. At least with Lee, there is a chance that he could turn out to be an above average QB (granted, he could turn out terrible. But he gives this team a better shot to win against tough competition than JJ).

This. I booed Miles and not JJ, but if it hurts JJ's feelings, I don't care. Pressure needs to be put on miles to make a change. Some people will say that booing doesn't accomplish anything. Well, time will tell. Miles keeps pissing the fan base off, it will come back to bite him and he knows it.

That being said, I won't boo when JJ's name is announced. But if he is having a below average performance, which is highly likely, and no change is made, Me and 60,000 other people will be booing. The other 20,00 or so that are there won't be booing and they will be more concerned with why people are booing rather than why our offense can't convert a 3rd and 6.
