I've been banned over Jarrett Lee during his freshman year.

I'm the a-hole because I think we shouldn't talk about the guys playing for the teams that we love the way some of you guys talk about them. Again you can vent all you want and you can do it without absolutely trashing on the players and coaches. If you want to fight I'm game too tho. Six o'clock behind the cafeteria.

I've said it and was blasted for it. This season stings and will linger for some time!

Jones is not a great coach, but the program is better off than under TJ and the end of Brady.

He needs a strong bench coach.

Eh... It's in better shape now than when Jones took over. That said, this season could very well put us in a tailspin and something needs to change. Obviously Jones isn't going, so I don't know what needs to be done.

He has NOT set the program back.

How do you believe this is true? From the lack of development over an entire season for the so called next "Chosen One" to the complete embarrassment on national media outlets, Johnny Jones has 100% set this program back a good bit. There will not be another top 10 recruit to even give LSU a glance let alone an actual recruiting trip with the way this team preformed this year with a top 5 recruiting class.

The only way to recover from this to go out and get a REAL basketball coach who can motivate players to put in the effort to get better and the show the WANT to win.

This is a no brainer that he has set us back and he deserves to lose his job.

Oh Johnny set back the program? He got us to this point where we had super high expectations. Nobody else. Johnny didn't set shite back. He had awful season yes but we wouldn't be to this point without him so gtfo of here with that. Grow up and see the big picture.

I'm not even saying he shouldn't be fired after this season but he has not set program back. Next season and this past season is better than what we dealt with for the good portion of 6 or 7 years minus 2009

Jones has one bad season and the whole program should start from new. Way to overreact

And I know everybody will disagree with me bc they hate Johnny. I have my problems with him this season as well. But he got us to this point. We had improved the past 3 season before this season and he has continued to get more and more talent here. Yes he underachieved with this group.

their were problems with this team that go further than chemistry. Players did not like each other for reason. A bad apple or 2 will probably not be here next season

After watching this season, I'm convinced Trent Johnson was a better coach than JJ.

LSU is still top 4 in the SEC. Unless LSU is in the bottom half of the SEC, LSU hasn't taken a step back. Until that happens, let the man coach his team

They underperformed and didn't meet expecatations this season. The #3 player in the nation next year is from Louisiana. Jones has a solid chance at landing him. Do some research before you start spitting your feelings on here

Everybody thinks that dumbass. Trent could not recruit. I bet you didn't even watch from 2010 till he got fired. Our teams had as much talent as southern basketball.

I can't deal with part time basketball fans. Just sad. Y'all act like y'all have watched since dale brown era or something.

I love how people bring up the placement in the SEC standings like it's something to brag on.

Johnny did bring the program up to the point where there were high expectations going into the season everyone is upset that they didn't make the tourney instead of Trent having it where we were mostly expecting them to not make the tourney.
