Shires wasn’t even bad per se. He just throw a lot of pitches. He was working really hard to get through those innings

I'm not going to disagree if other options dont work out but I'd love to have him able to come out the pen multiple times a week pitching extended innings when someone else maybe gets chased early, very valuable there as well. He definitely helped change that Southern game momentum last night IMO.

Little has looked really good. His stuff is nasty.
Don't care how they do it, but he needs a lot of innings this year.

Him and Floyd look like our long relieves/ our stop the bleeding relievers. Especially if Cooper remains a starter.
But I wouldn’t be super surprised if either started some games.

Taylor's injury really, really sucked.
It's gonna be hard for me to not play the "what if" game with him available.
Feeling really good currently about Skenes, Cooper, Little, Floyd. Shores and Hurd are works in progress.
