I don’t care what the SEC wants. LSU needs to hire Hugh Freeze to modernize our offense so we can actually compete.
Big deal, he hired a hooker. Who really cares. If we’re going to go the route of Ole Miss, we might as well go all the way and put the band back together again.

Freeze is immediately available. He and O are close friends and he knows recruiting in this region. Screw the SEC and let’s hire him.

I am ok with this. I am pretty sure he has a show cause restriction on hiring and the LSU board of supervisors will never approve it. Nice dream though

Is Hugh Freeze responsible for aligning Orgeron out the door when Ole Miss fired him after three a seasons? I thought I read where Freeze and Orgeron actually aren’t tight

The only thing is the minute LSU attempts to hire Freeze Birmingham will step in because they fear it will pose a threat to Alabama. Remember Nick Saban wanted him as well and they didn't allow him to have him. If Nick can't get him, no one in the SEC will get him.

At this point hire the one guy who beat your mortal enemy. The SEC wants Freeze banned because his true crime is defeating Alabama lets call it what it is.
Slow is right its time abandon the talent gap crutch there are only 32 five star player per year; therefore, you can't use the we need more 5 stars to beat Alabama excuse every year.

If Orgeron was waiting for Freeze to become less toxic, it would be one at least semi plausible reason he went with Ensminger (as a temporary measure).

Alleva could grow a set of balls and tell the SEC to F off. They couldn’t do a thing about it if we hired Freeze. They’ve screwed LSU every way possible. What else could they do about it?

I’d like to revamp the whole offensive coaching staff.
Ensminger/Sullivan retire
Get Robinson and The pseudo do-nothing WR Coach outta here. Those 2 should be the best recruiters you have on staff.
I would probably let Cregg stay if Freeze would be ok with it.
It’s time to up the recruiting budget, raise the COL stipend for the athletes to keep up with Bama. Pay for players, deer spray, women, whatever it takes.
Kirby is copying the Saban machine and its paying dividends. LSU is behind the times in recruiting.
