NIL going to be a huge factor going forward in college sports. How do we stack up to other programs? Not sure advertising for selling chicken tenders gonna cut it…

Not near as good as the guys on here want to pretend. National titles will be bought moving forward and we aren’t even close to being in a good position for that. For all intents and purposes college football is ruined now.

Not great. In my opinion, LSU thought NIL would be social media driven... instead its booster advertising driven. Tex AM is about to guy the highest rated class in recruiting history after going 8-4 and never winning anything big under Jimbo...Im a fan if NIL but without rules and now a wide open transfer portal, its not what college football was intended to be. Hope some proper changes can be made to both to support the student athletes properly while not allowing kids to be bought.

College football is much bigger than the “student athletes” themselves and catering to the “student athletes” will end up ruining the sport. The alumni bases with big pockets and people with strong connections to their university are the foundation of college football, not the players. The entire roster of CFB players turns over every 4 years and everything has always kept moving along so we know that the players aren’t the driving force for all the money made from CFB. Pretending they are and turning CFB into the NFL minor league will ruin the sport and we are already seeing that happen.
