No signing day. If they're getting paid, let them sign a binding contract as soon as they'd like when an offer is made. Maybe say they can sign at any point after their first day as a Junior in HS. Contract is binding for at least one year of college.

Eliminate the portal and make the deals iron clad. They'll start choking on that 10 mil payout offer when they have 40 lazy arse deadheads on the payroll.
