How would LSU have fared against Al Horford/Corey Brewer/Joakim Noah... with Brandon Bass

on that final four team. UF only went 6-7 deep that year with Chris Richard and Adrian Moss coming off the bench, and it would have been a chore to handle another big like that in the frontcourt to go along with Davis, Temple, and Thomas...
hopefully we're getting closer to reaching those heights again

Florida bc they were more athletic and better 3 pt shooter. Fla also had Speights one of those years. He was the top juco player in the nation prior year iirc.

A better question and similar to yours.
How would LSU have fared against Corey Brewer/Joakim Noah with Al Horford if Al's father Tito Horford hadn't been taking handouts from other programs during his time at LSU?
Tito signed with LSU after being ruled ineligible to play at Houston because of a recruiting violation.

Florida kicked LSU's arse twice in 2006. It was just a bad matchup for us. LSU probably wins the national title with Brandon Bass, though.

Wouldn’t have mattered because we would have still lost to Holiday/Westbrook and Co.

Neither Holiday nor Westbrook were on that 06 UCLA team.

That UF team was the best BBall team in the past 15 years. No one was gonna stop them in 07

Florida was too good in 2006 with that lineup. I never thought Noah was going to make it in the pros either. That team was sick
