solid year of experience for BH

being able to have basically full two years of learning the playbook and studying with Cam will vastly improve BH.

He has the tools but lacks the knowledge IMO

Hawkins would probably go 5th round at best

No one knows. If we had this convo at this point last season every one would have said Collins is gone everyone else stays. Instead Collins stayed and turner left. Which is why the line was dissapointing. They struggled early on and next year we might return 1 starter instead of 4. Then you get our big bodied tes that might leave. Not sure if stokes and Gordon are srs, but those guys basically act as a 6th offensive linemen.

We really could be waiting til 16 to make some noise if our online jets to the NFL. Really sad though because you would expect the offense to get better everywhere else, but then wed be starting 4 new guys on the line. We may struggle next year.

Also Washington is gone, he's been hampered by injuries his whole career, but you saw his worth when they plugged him in against Ole miss and we didn't miss a beat.

LT-Pocic
LG-Alexander
C-Dodd?
RG-Fanaika?
RT-Malone

Lots of moving pieces but I think you could probably lock up the 3 without question marks

Hawkins should definitely stay, but I've heard he was very likely to go starting last year. Ashame because he has all the tools to be a great LT. Alexander I can understand, but of course want him back. If we can keep one of the 2 I will be excited. 2 would be outstanding.

I know he's only played against scrubs, but I think Boutte is going to wreck shite. The guy just mauls people when he's in.

Pretty sure Fanaika's a Senior. Boutte will probably be in that spot, and will be way better than Hoko.

Boutte's played in every game this season, and I agree with stuntman - will be a rock next year.

The OL and the TEs struggled with the new scheme early on. Now they are figuring it out and it shows.

I was really worried about the 15 line earlier this year, but not as much now. Even if Hawk and Vadal leave, I think they will be decent. Sounds crazy to lose 6 of the 7 with the most experience and not worry.

However, Pocic, Dodd, Malone, Boutte, Demond, Brumfield, Clapp, and Austin return and they should all know the new scheme now, many of them were not here for the old one. Plus any help from the new class.

Evan Washington may get a 6th year and he is solid and Hawkins and/or Vadal could come back.

It may turn out better than expected, but this is what will keep LSU lower in the polls initially next year regardless. Every other position group will be experienced somewhat to quite a bit.

It's starting to seem like a really good offensive line is almost more important then a good dline.

You build a team around the offensive line. I hope it's good.

I agree dreaux, I think they are the two most important position groups for LSU because of the schemes. LSU will always have good to great skill players. LSU has won with average at best QB play, although good ones are nice.
