The party was $65-$70, not the cost of your first born child. We were there from 1 to 6:00 and defintely feel it was worth it. Yeah they ran out of Abita and yea eventually they ran out of food, but the shade of the tent and constantly flowing beer alone was worth it.
You can't please everyone all the time for sure. Had the cost been $150/person, then maybe people would have reason to complain but I say job well done.

If you ever do this again, please use Eddie Deen. Check out his website-- www.eddiedeen.com
He has a place right across from the stadium on Collins. With the problems I'm reading about, you will not be disappointed if you use Eddie Deen the next time LSU comes to Dallas.

Well I hope the "next time" LSU sells a game to Dallas..it will be the UAB,ULM or Furman type !
Tiger Stadium is where our games should be played OR home/home on college campuses !

Honestly... pretty awful.
ETA: Shuttle to the game was clutch. Weather can't be fixed... but the setup was pretty budget overall.

Honest opinion? The running joke in our group over the past 2 days has been that we are all going to rent out Gilligan's for our birthdays. It was pretty bad. We got there around 2:30 and our group of 12 all agreed to leave at 5.
Food:
The "bowl" of jambalaya had about 3 bites in it.
We left before the food ran out, but like others have said - How can you possibly run out of cheap food like that when you're charging $70 a head?
We ended up going to the "pay side" of the bar to buy food and waste more money because it had a/c.
Beer:
No complaints (we left before it ran out). Having Abita was a big positive.
Venue:
Awful - The disgruntled 40 yr old waitresses working seemed to hate the fact that there was a party there (I'm assuming no tips)
Shuttle Service:
On the way - great
After the game - not as good, but we would have been in traffic anyways so no big deal
Overall:
Way overpriced. We could've had a pretty good tailgate with the $840 we spent. Lesson learned.

I think your event will be very poorly attended next year, could have been handled better. Best to just donate to your foundation and go some place less crowded and receive
