I’m trying to tell you that there are people that hate the O hire so much that they want him gone so bad they would prefer LSU to lose just so we would get rid of him....

Even if that's the case, so what?
You guys act like this is something new. When we get the next coach, there will be people that shite on him from the moment he gets here, and the next coach, and the next. I don't understand why for this guy people are up in their feelings.
When he wins some hardware, all of that chatter will largely disappear.

Yeah honestly I think the Florida game is the biggest of the year.
It’s at home, against a guy he hasn’t beaten yet at a permanent opponent, with a team that we honestly should have beaten last year.
We are more talented than they are, as we have been since O took over even though he is 1-2 against them, but they will be the second best team we play this year.
A loss to them almost assures we don’t hit that 11-1 mark that we need to be a serious contender for a playoff spot at the end of the year.
Mullen represents the type of coach that a lot of fans wanted when O was hired, an offensive minded guy with history of developing QBs that isn’t dependent on an OC to design and implement an innovative offense from year to year.
If O can’t get over the hump against him this year with everything stacked in our favor it will lead to his eventual downfall in BR imo.
I have no doubt we beat UT, but if somehow we lose that one, O may very well be coaching for his job against Mullen staring down the road at a fourth game against Saban.

I'll break this down to a high school level so you'll get it.
Emery is more talented than the guys we have, however, it's not known if he'll be an immediate upgrade in terms of his ability to contribute.
It's the same as when LF took over for Jeremy Hill. LF was a more talented player but didn't have a larger impact right off the bat. Talent doesn't always mean that you'll be able to contribute immediately. Can it mean that, sure. But I'm not going to say that more talent will certainly result in more results immediately. Now do you get it?
With the Texas players, it can mean the same thing. That's why I find it curious that you automatically assume that they'll be worse in place where they're replacing players when they're replacing them with more talented guys in many spots. You're going against your Emery point.
If you don't, then that's on you. I think the above point is as clear as I can make it. The difference between me and you is I don't make assumptions that Emery will be better or worse immediately. Same with the Texas players.

Ummm... how am I supposed to do that? People have their own thoughts. I bitched and bitched about O being hired, boycotted games and buying merchandise and still cheered as loud at home watching games as I ever have. I was just as happy when we won as I ever have. People enjoy winning. There's a difference in opinion on how to get there. That doesn't mean that once we get there that people won't be happy.

Those people don't believe that Orgeron is the coach to get us back to championship level football. You think they won't be happy if/when LSU wins a title?
