Upset but will deal with it . Its football, I have seen a lot of games we should have won that we lost . I have also seen games we won that I still haven’t figured out how. The only time I get upset is if I feel the coaches were totally unprepared . (1-9-11 )

Or Wisconsin at Lambeau. Another completely unprepared or misprepared outing.

Like I said, confused.

When you say something like Troy is more talented than LSU, I don't think you get to claim you're on the right side of anything.

We had that game, we just blew it. We were in FG range with a minute left

Winning what?

Winning at about the same rate as the last guy from what I can tell.

It's amazing the things people can fool themselves into thinking.

I was being positive and speaking well of Coach o. I thought that's what you knuckleheads wanted.

You're damned if you do and damned if you don't around here.

Nope. Orgerons improved over Miles last couple of seasons.

Do you mean like I was "noticeably absent" after any of the 10 wins from last season, or the 9 wins in 2017 or any of the wins during the 2016 season? Or any of the wins from the Miles era?

Why would any of us be absent after the Texas game? What a strange thing to say Roger.

I can't speak for Goldrush or Damone, but I'll still be around Roger. I would imagine that those guys will be around as well.

I'm not like ree and a few of you other guys that disappear into the dark of the night when things don't go well.

Why? On multiple occasions I have predicted LSU to win by 2 TDs.

Slightly annoyed. Crack open another beer or fix another whiskey and move on with life.

Yeah, I've never disappeared after a game. That's Ree's go-to move.

I don't understand why I would disappear after a game. People still think that fans get upset after wins?

If you don't, then that's on you. I think the above point is as clear as I can make it. The difference between me and you is I don't make assumptions that Emery will be better or worse immediately. Same with the Texas players

He's still trying to wiggle his way out of the corner. I gotta say that's hilarious.

The Miles fanboys

With what Miles accomplished at LSU, we all should have been "Miles fanboys", but there was some, like you, that weren't.

Now that there are folks on the rant that have concerns about the head coach, the way you had concerns about the head coach 3 short years ago, now you seem to be pissy about people voicing their opinions. The same way you would voice your opinion about the previous head coach.

Might as well get over it Trout. Not all of us are going to agree 100% of the time.

will definitely not be as happy as the ones who care about LSU more than who is coaching them

You mean like you use to be when Miles was here?

It would likely play out like this:

First week: Any stock that Ed O's been building over the last few years will quickly fall. Fisher rumors will re-start immediately. Many season ticket holders will vow to never renew again (yet still will).

Second week: Excuses will start. The stage was too big for such young talent. Officials wanted Texas to be relevant again because its better for CFB. The lop-sided crowd was a big factor but we'd win on a neutral field. Band wanted to play neck. Texas is legit this year.

10-19-19: Texas loses to Kansas. All hell breaks lose. Chicken has to plug in more serves to prevent literal melt-down. Another frat gets banned after igniting gasoline at University House whiling hanging F. King in effigy. Rumors circulate that Dave Aranda is interest in HC job at Texas Lutheran. Saban flips CamRon Jackson and Fisher flips Major Burns. Students hold vigil, singing Ave Maria while watching Tiger Stadium burn.

You don't need anyone to explain that to you. You did the same damn thing when Miles was here. And as far as "winning", we've still lost at least 3 games a season, and to teams that we shouldn't lose to, and we still have games where we've played down to weaker opponents.

Next to nothing has changed.

Those people don't believe that Orgeron is the coach to get us back to championship level football. You think they won't be happy if/when LSU wins a title?

If you don't believe O can win a title then I believe you certainly won't be happy when proven wrong. There is no indication based on what he has done here at LSU that should give anyone a reason to say "he will never win a west title at LSU"...do you think anyone who speaks that way will really be happy if he does?

quote:

I bitched and bitched about O being hired, boycotted games and buying merchandise

that is retarded! You must not have season tickets. Coaches come and go. I think many on here don't remember the 90's

And you hated em.

Now, you are them.

People morph into the things the hate when they have loose ties.

The main hatred of O comes from Miles personal fanatics

this is just wrong. I never wanted him fired I only wanted him to let an OC come in and run an offense.

Why does what we have done the last 2 years bother you then? yall tout CLM for that but hate O for it? how does that make any sense?
