How To Watch LSU Baseball - Explained

I had to learn the hard way, but that is the best explanation of exactly how you do it. Including pitfalls like trying to search LSU or seeing it on ESPN+ and wondering why it won't work.
ESPN App--> Watch--> Channels--> SECN+(must have a tv package or streaming service with SECN)-->Scroll to the right longer than you expect-->Use same login credentials you would to pay a monthly bill to the service.

ETA: I get a free beer and dollar off every other beer I drink at my local watering hole because the old bartender can't figure it out and I end up streaming it from my phone.

He still streams damn near every single game on YouTube I don't know what you're missing...

Which is why I gave instructions on the easiest way to do it. Just scroll down to "Channels" and go to SECN+. You MIGHT have 6 games to scroll through.
Always my method, scroll down to channels, skipping search all together. Allows me to select secn+ and it's usually 1st if not one of the only ones there.

And...you got a sticky double

I don’t. Because I’m still watching his streams every game.

one thing you can do is scroll down to leagues, click ncaa baseball, then scroll to find the game.
makes it much easier to find that away imo.
this is exactly how i do it too... i like to do it this way because i can see the scores of all the other games while im looking for the Lsu game.

I have DirectStream and get this error which is hard to work around. The only thing that works is to delete the espn app, log out of direct stream and reload. You find out after you try to sign in at game time which means you miss the first pitch.

We have the ESPN porridge through Sling Orange, and ESPN+ with the Disney shite. At least twice in late innings we we sent to the Amazon Home Screen, the game kicked off. we managed to get back on twice, for maybe a minute. Then it quit showing up on the list of LIVE games. Most recent was this Sunday, I think.
Both times I had to go to ESPN+ and log in with my Sling credentials to finish watching the games. It may have happened with Softball, too. Aggravated the hell out of me.

For cord cutters:
YouTubeTv is great in that you can cancel with a couple clicks, and it’s month-to-month. It’s nothing like trying to cancel cable.
I would buy it 30 mins before the game and cancel before it renews for another month.

I always scream at the bartender , knowing they don’t have the right package. Then after making them search for it, I leave for another bar
one day they will figure out that LSU baseball puts people on the bar stools.

You should try my method...

I've only missed 1 game this year the Texas game because we all know why.
I don't have Secn+ or Espn+. So to anyone that wants to watch just open ur eyes and read the tread.

99% of the baseball games are on SECN+

I emailed them about this last week. I used to be able to search "LSU" and all live and upcoming games would pop up. I could see basketball, softball and baseball on the list at the same time. Now, nothing pops up. For 2 weeks, the only thing that popped up when searching "LSU" was UPCOMING: Spring Game 2023. I now have to go to NCAA Baseball channel and scroll until I find the game.

thanks for taking so much time to explain. but I have a feeling someone will start a I HAVE HULU+, DISNEY+, and ESPN+ but can't find the game.
Another thing you can do is go to the baseball schedule on LSUSports.net and click on the SEC+ on the schedule.
For those of you that have ESPN+, the best I can tell, it gives you access to all of the 30for30's. I haven't missed out on any live content by not having it.

You may want to add a quick caveat that sometimes the app will glitch and you may need to forget your network and reconnect your network to the app. It’s happened a few times this year, and while a pain in the arse, takes less than a minute to fix
Quite a few more minutes to fix if you are trying to talk your sweet 94 year-old father through it over the phone from over 500 miles away....
He does love his Tigers, and FFS ESPN....make your app more user friendly.

When did they take SECN+ out of the ESPN+ app?
just kidding bro that's a very well done post with screenshots and no big words. Hopefully it helps those poor souls out there who are still confused about this. I know my dad still struggles with it even though I've explained it 1000x.

Thank you for doing this. I know that it took some time. I hope it helps.

Go the "CHANNEL" route. Wont have to scroll through as much.

75% if you want to be technical.
12 of the last 16 are on SECN+.
3 are on the SEC Network (TV)
1 is on ESPN+ (SELA) (because its an away OOC game as I laid out in the OP)
Point is, the LARGE majority (if not all of the remaining regular season If its not on SECN+, it'll be on one of the other ESPN channels and can be found using this method. Just look here and find out what channel its on. Then use the same method as I posted in the OP.
