Impossible to predict every single transfer being a dud. Massive outlier of a season from a portal standpoint.

a&m last season was #1 and missed the tournament as well. that a&m team was highly thought of.
they also had some injuries, but they've bounced back this season. LSU can bounce back next season.

But were any of them actually good at their previous stops? A .300 average with 10 home runs in high altitude agaisnt subpar pitching isn't eye opening.
We brought in a bunch of average players and somehow everyone was convinced they were studs.

Most were convinced because the head coach couldn’t stop gushing about his pitching staff and his “professional hitters”….he lost some credibility with his complete miss on the projected performance of this team

It was over ranked.
Almost none of the expected upgrades (both incoming and expected improvements from returning players) occurred.
Finally, injuries slowly took away the best pieces this team still had.
This weekend, the team is basically without its best 3 pitchers and its best hitter.
It already wasn’t good enough. It is now getting run over.
