besides, those bandwagon chaps need us older folks to show them what the student section is really supposed to be like.
of course because the students that attend the University and pay tuition are "bandwagon" and not the person that absolutely has to sit in the said student section to get the full experience

I'm 40 years old and I also sit in the studet section when the opportunity presents itself. It is a whole helluva lot more fun sitting there.
It gives me a chance to entertain the students as well. Everytime I yelled at D Byrd or B. LaFell, telling them that even my old fat arse could catch the ball, uproarious laughter usually ensued.
A couple years ago, a student shouted/asked why I was in the student section because,"You must be, like, 40, or something!" I loudly responded,"You know what that means? It means I've had 10 times more pussy than you can even think about." He laughed and gave me a high five, while the kids around me laughed and patted me on the back.
Besides, when the students leave at halftime (usually) it gives me plenty of room to stretch out. Maybe take a nap. Rest my aching back...

This will be my friends 4th season after graduation and he still refuses to sit anywhere but the student section. I agree the student section has a great atmosphere but eventually you gotta move on right.
Never. Sitting in the normal section sucks.

I would think you can pull it off if you still have a crew to go with... 25 is pushing it; 26 is probably the Mendoza line!

frick that shite, I've seen grandmas and grandpas having a blast in the student section. If they have a ticket and don't mind following along with the cheers, I say go for it. BTW, next season will be my second in the student section after college and seventh straight year overall, so frick you haters.

I personally know many law / medical / grad students in their mid to late 20s who sit in the student section.

this was my last season on the row. 6 years is enough.
Don't worry...I'll hold down the fort for a semester, haha! Who else will be inspired to go see the McNeese, Southeastern, and Nicholls games?

If you don't take classes in the school of LSU, Get the frick out the student section and buy tickets to sections other the student section like the rest of the LSU's alumni.

I'm 28, and anytime I come back for a game, I try to get in the student section because that's where I can act up and actually have fun. "Family atmosphere" means "less fun for xiv."

I'm 42 and I would give up any seat in the stadium to sit in the student section. I do it regularly and love it. Crazy as any of the students. My kids love it too and that's why they're going to LSU (even though we live in Michigan).

judging by this sentence, you are obviously not an alum of any institution of higher learning.

I thought you have to show youre student ID to get in the SS. How does your friend get in w/o that ID???
At football games you can upgrade student tickets for non students. As long as you're not stealing a ticket from someone and uphold the high standard of the student section, then be there until the day you die

No age limit but if you aren't a student then you don't get to sit there...end of discussion.
Posted on 3/9/09 at 11:28 pm to killercoconut
the craziest LSU fans I know aren't students, so why not?
