as lsu a better program than USC,FSU,OKLAHOMA,MIAMI,ohio state in 2004?
In 2003 and 2004:
Ohio State went 11-2 and 8-4
Miami went 11-2 and 9-3
Oklahoma went 12-2 and 12-1
Florida State 10-3 and 9-3
USC went 12-1 and 13-0
LSU went 13-1 and 9-3
The only 2 programs that did better then LSU was USC and Oklahoma. And since LSU beat Oklahoma in 2003 you could make the argument that LSU was a better program at that time.

Dude are you reading other ppls post on here? They're agreeing with me you're the only one refusing to admit we were a top 5 program when miles got here. You idolize Mikes and that's fine but not realizing or admitting you're biased towards him is crazy.

See I don't like Saban but you love Mikes so much when I post facts about what Saban did you take it as me loving Saban. I try not to bring up his name I try to stick with the players and you don't even notice that.

Fsu had just come off 14 years of finishing top 5.
Miami had just come off back to back title game appearances
A 2 year stretch does not make you a top 5 program

Ha ha. Peej agreeing with you may be the worst thing ever.
1 top 5 finish in 5 years DOES NOT MAKE YOU A TOP 5 PROGRAM.

quote:Because I didn't say he was top 5, maybe in 2012 it was plausible, not 2016.
The question was how does a top 5 coach not have a job. You said age I named a top. 5 coach who's older why are you having trouble with this ?
Of course you bring up Saban who could prolly sign at age 80.
It ain't about Saban and wipe your chin.

Its telling that you only used 2 years. I wonder why that is.

Still havnt answered the question because the answer can't leave your lips. Miles cock taking up too much room in your mouth.

Dude do you not understand college football cycles? Apparently not we are talking about at that time not alltime or all decade.

But you asked specifically about 2004. And we were discussing the state of LSU program as of 2005 when Miles was hired. He took over a program that won a national championship, number 1 recruiting class, number 2 recruiting class, and a program with an overall record that only trailed USC and Oklahoma

If I was Miles I would coach Pop Warner football and draw my hundred sixty Grand a month from LSU.

Fsu= ranked in evey year from 2000-2004 and had previously finished top5 14 years in a row
Miami=back to back title game appearances
Usc= back to back titles
Oklahoma had 4 top 5 finishes from 2000-2004 with a title and another title game appearance
Ohio state= title and back to back top 5 finishes
So yeah all those programs were better
Miami=back to back title game appearances
Usc= back to back titles

Too innovative for him at that level.

1 year does not make you a top 5 program. Come the frick on.

What? Educate yourself. Saban had stopped recruiting in 2004 so much so that we only had 13 recruits sign that year. We were no where near #2 recruiting class.

2 years doesnt outweigh 5 years.
You think lsu was better than Oklahoma because we beat them in 2003 year Oklahoma had 4 top 5 finishes from 2000-2004 including a 5th seasons they finished 6th.
In no way were we a better prohram than oklahoma.

First 7 years was 41-15 in conference. (63%) Last 5 years was 21-13 in conference. (38%)
That would be 73.2% (41-15) and 61.7% (21-13).
Miles did many great things for the school and city. He should be thanked and wished luck for the future.
O is the boss now. The question is can he beat Miles' numbers and improve the team?

He should be a dc. Who better to shut down an offense?

He already did and 0 is not competent enough to run a defense for a P5 program. You do the math.
