That sounds exactly like what I want to be doing all day before the game.
All day?

Takes about 45 minutes. And if you want great tickets for 80% to 90% off the scalpers rates, this system works.

Texas Season tickets is the way to go.

Bought 2 season tickets in section 123 row 3 on the aisle, seats not bleachers, for $1,200 ($600 each). Sold the other 5 games for $1,000 for the pair. Ended up paying $200 for a pair to the LSU game.

I may have even been able to make all money back or even profit playing the stubhub game, but the rest of the Texas schedule is pretty boring (La Tech, Oklahoma St, Kansas, Kansas St, Texas Tech). When my cousin's friend said he'd buy the rest of the tickets off me, I said "deal."

I'll be buying them near the stadium the day of. Hasn't failed me yet. I've gotten tickets to plenty LSU vs Alabama games and have yet to pay more than $400 total for a pair.

You can always get tickets cheaper if you wait.

The ones for sale now are for suckers. You just to have patience.

In 2017, I bought Super Bowl tickets way too early (pre-Christmas) and paid through the nose. I learned my lesson and in 2018 I waited until the Friday night before and paid half of what I paid the prior year for better seats.

I'm buying my tickets on Friday night / Saturday morning.

You are wrong. The biggest games are the MOST over-bought by scalpers.

And the BEST seats are the ones the scalpers hold on to til kickoff... then they panic and get whatever they can for them - which is usually face value at best.

It is an interesting market dynamic. You should try it some time.

Maybe so. But where are they getting tickets? Supply and Demand will make finding anything harder.

Also, remember the A&M Cotton Bowl game at Jerry's World? For the life of me, I couldn't find any decent priced pair for my friends.

When did you look? Days or weeks before the game? Scalpers buy everything that pops up in those days (and pay a premium).

And the smarter scalpers dump their excess tickets before kickoff. But the not-so-sharp scalpers hold theirs until 5 or so minutes after kickoff.

I got a game of century ticket in Ttown for 100 by waiting til kickoff. I'll do it again this time too.
