How much of the Domesticated Cat formation would you like to see?

Spencer Ware under center. It's not out of the shotgun so you can't call it the wild cat.
Lets call it the house cat formation or the domesticated cat formation since its under center and it doesn't have a name.
I love it. I'd like to see it maybe ten times a game. Ware is the perfect person to do it with; he's a grown man, won't fumble and could possibly step back and toss it if you want him too.

I thought y'all settled on ware-wolf?

Warecat.
It's technically no anything really different formation-wise. Just a different guy at QB.
Gotta keep Mett away from the WR spot though. He's not fooling anyone

It's the Warecat, and I personally like it. As long as they are very comfortable with the plays in it, I say we run it 5 times a game minimum. Nothing wrong with some misdirection. We have a ton of playmakers at RB, so give them a chance to make plays.

I thought it was the Warecat? We could call it the Hardware package.

The defense ignores him out there, they know any half-competent corner or safety can catch him IF it was thrown to him, and that we'll never risk throwing it to him and getting him hurt on a tackle. It is brain-dead to put him there.
Otherwise, I love the Warecat.

usually this is how its done, even if the qb is not a threat. Have to keep him in the huddle to fool the defense.

Think Bobby Boucher in the Bourbon Bowl. Mett goes deep Spencer Ware rolls put and chucks it down field for the game wining touchdown.
Tigers: 10
28th day of the month: 7

Ware under center with Copeland and Ford in an I-formation behind him running a triple option to the wide side. Would love to see that!

Ware to Mett for the surprise TD against Bama. Calling it now.

Doesn't necessarily have to be under center.....
