On getting ether brown or Curiel back? I have a feeling we get 1 if not both back now.

None. They're both gone.

Milam's situation was not exactly equal to Curiel or Brown. I wouldn't hold out hope on either returning, but with NIL and 5 to play 5 coming down the pipe, I suppose now there is a better chance than any. If one of them returns you would think Brown would have the better chance. Just wouldn't make much sense for Curiel, assuming he gets what he should.

The risk/reward just isn’t worth it.

Whats the risk, if the reward is more money than they could make elsewhere

The risk? They could get hurt (like they both did this past season) or they could not perform as well as they expect and have their stock drop.

Do you really need the risk of returning to college as a 1st/2nd round MLB pick explained to you?

Both project much better at next level . I don’t see either getting to the show but it’s understandable and much easier decision for them to go…

Nah, I clearly said IF the money is MORE than they could make elsewhere.

Like a qb stays for 5M, compared to the rookie max deal he might make in 2nd rd of NFL.

No clue if baseball 2nd rd is similar to a college kid making more. Hence, the question

Ffs, it's baseball....not rugby

Or they could improve and raise their stock, while getting paid.

Where do you think a top 20, possibly top 10 draft pick will make more money?

Curiels slot would be in the 5-6 mil range.

Brown would be 1.5-2 mil range.

Curiel isn't making that much in college, and he doesn't have a ton of room to improve it.

I won't pretend to know what each LSU play makes in NIL, but tough to imagine Brown could be paid that much.

And that is just slot values, based on where they are currently projected. They can both make more than slot.

Curiel does not have very much room to move upwards. Hence why the previous poster said risk/reward.

Thanks for info...solid. and if so, yes, both need to go, unless brown has serious room to improve and move into 1st next year

Not sure what you are getting at.

Right. That’s the reward that you are weighing against the risk. Not sure why this concept is so hard for you to understand.

Oh the irony. Works both ways, guy. That's why you weigh it...and it's fluid
