I think '25 or '26 not far off just need to clean up a few things. DC is one for sure.

If good decisions are made on the defensive side of the ball, we could get a playoff spot next season. If the teams improves a lot during the season, who knows?

Who knows? So much good fortune is involved in that, IMO.

Just enjoy LSU Football along the way even if we are NOT a NC contender in any given year.

Getting into the final 12 now gives you a chance. LSU would have been the 12th team with the JD5 campaign this year and faced Michigan round 1. Makes you think.

People over 14 that use the term natty deserve a beating.

Unfortunately, I don’t see it with Kelly as coach. He can’t recruit or put a goo defense on the field. We don’t have the money that other programs have for NIL

Next year if we can get good play at DL and CB. Those are the biggest weaknesses on the roster.

And monkeys could fly out of my butt.

We're losing the actual Heisman winner and the on-the-field Biletnikoff. We're not losing much on the defensive side.

We are, mid-pack in the SEC, talent-wise. You simply cannot win consistently and get into the playoffs without talent. Not in our conference. Not in any conference.

I'm not all negative. I think the running backs and offensive line, both already on the team and incoming, are really quality groups. There are guys in the WR room that could replace a good bit of the production this year, whether Nuss or someone catches fire. We need to prove this offense wasn't simply the JD5 show.

Special teams were improved from 2022 to 2023. I'd still like to see improvement in all phases of kicking and returns, but that was demonstrated improvement from a unit that wasn't a helluva lot better in 2022 than the defense was in 2023.

But, the defense is horrible until proven otherwise. FFS, we all saw it. Didn't you see it?
